since our group did lots of work this week. All we need to do is to get ready for Q&A session. And here are the questions that we prepared:
Why did you take photos from our eyes?
to present what we actually see. each people see from their own perspectives.
Why did we stand in circle?
combine perspectives. to illustrate different perspectives.
What kinds of research you used?
online: pictures, videos.
talk to people, communicate.
how do you think your performance is related to the idea of showing the feeling of presence?
replicate, the presentation is itself an experience that requires presence. the audio is to make people think/reflect their state of mind. the audio represents how our mind usually work, busy with so many different thoughts, that we cannot always control.
Any similarity between your journey and the Rollerr project(Shared presence)?
the importance of presence. not easy to be presence.
What did you learn from this journey/project?
team work. new software. friendship. London’s history. coping with bad weather. time management. culture.
what kind of transport did your group undertaken? why?
walk. short, be with people.
'what is the most important thing that you all took away from this project? what surprised you about it? what will you remember about it in ten years' time' quoted from the Brief
we do not notice from everyday live. sth we ignore. different perspectives.
bung’s birthday. friendship. city of London.
What kind of preparation you did before you start taking the journey?
transportation. had some idea.
What is your intervention in this project?
presentation. take the photo.
What is the most impressive memory you guys get from the groupworking?
how did you get the idea of evoke the feeling of presence?
when we were taking the journey, the most positive overwhelming feeling we all shared was that we felt present and free and light. Journeys come in all shapes from mental to physical, and presence is required to get the most of it.
we rehearsed the videos and prepared our exhibition.
The presentations cracked on. all other groups presented in a different way, but i still think our team showed our journey in a most immense way. Admittedly, the best way of presentation is to show not to tell. I think Green team’s video is cool, and that is something i should learn from.
we were really nerves before the show, but it went on smoothly even there were some accident happened.(Gloria started the video late, people couldn’t hear the audio because the room was noisy) We were so glad with the audiences’ responses. Everyone joined, tasted, smelled, touched everything we prepared. I felt so lucky to work with my teammates. We all have different strength and we cooperate well. Hope the roller team can work this good.
It was really interesting to see people's reaction on our show. They interacted with each other like what we did on the journey. Some sit back on the chair and refuse to join, that's their state of mind.
This presentation was really a success that i was so proud of our team. Team White forever.
