I am not sure if I like Ai Weiwei or not. I like him always being brave and daring to challenge authority but he is annoying when he use a fascist way to express the idea. But he is clever and knowing how to please the west.
The first time I ever really know him was when I was in Taiwan. I went to the movie festival and watched his documentary. I was amazed by the way he sees things. and now he is in UK. I am aware how hard is it for him to go abroad. And luckily he had it. The reason why I put him in the journal is because his work is similar to my topic - Surveillance. He was being surveillanced by Chinese government and he hate about it and expressed his anger in the art works. He would be my biggest stakeholder. I really liked the way he says about government surveillance that I heard in the audio guide (unfortunately I didn't write it down), but he generally meant that China is becoming a very powerful country because it surveillance people for no reason. He did made some points in this line. The governments in developed world are getting very strong and stable. Like UK, USA. they can instantly censored that what people are thinking and planning. It's beneficial to fight against terrorists, but what about freedom. Can I post anything I want online and not getting myself in trouble? No. And I don't even dare to do that. The police will knock on my door in few minutes. I bet the government is censoring what I am typing on weebly right now.
